Welcome to stacks. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the stacks application and services. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for and/or using the stacks service in any manner, including but not limited to visiting or browsing the site, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and all other operating rules, policies, and procedures that may be published from time to time on the site by us, each of which is incorporated by reference and each of which may be updated from time to time without notice to you.

2. Description of Service

stacks is an employment tracking and financial management tool designed for individuals and small businesses to track shifts, income, expenses, invoice clients, and estimate taxes. We strive to provide accurate mathematical estimations, but stacks should not be considered a replacement for a certified public accountant (CPA) or professional financial advice.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are solely responsible for the activity that occurs on your account and for keeping your account password secure.
• You must notify us immediately of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Billing and Subscriptions

Some features of stacks require a paid subscription.

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly).
• You will be automatically charged using the payment method you provided via our secure payment processor (Stripe).
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; however, there are no refunds for partially used billing periods.
• We reserve the right to change our prices upon reasonable advance notice.

5. User Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using stacks, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall stacks, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service;
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the service;
• Any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

We do not guarantee that the application will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
